1 DAY POTTERY LATHE CLASS

The potter’s wheel is a traditional tool used by ceramic potters that consists of two round plates that rotate on themselves. By kicking the base plate, the platen begins to rotate, allowing you to model the piece from the centrifugal force applied in the dance of your hands on the materiality of the clay.

In this class you will be able to produce a piece of your choice: a cup, a glass, a bottle, a bowl, a plate, a cup, or a vase. We will teach you how to use this interesting tool, as well as share our knowledge of the kneading technique, among others. We will show you the possibilities that exist to make your piece something exceptional.

DURATION
6 hours (Monday – Friday)

INCLUDES ONE MEAL
This class must be scheduled at least one week in advance and takes place
only in low season (January, February, March, September). It depends on the schedule and availability of the ceramics team.
