In September 2020 became known as the project of Class G-Alebrije: the truck all-terrain by the German brand Mercedes Benz intervened by Taller Jacobo y Mar\u00eda \u00c1ngeles. An abstract representation of the Oaxacan culture and the symbolic expression of the Mesoamerican culture.<\/span><\/p>\n

The truck was our canvas for 5 months, a new and different surface for our traditional methods of carving and painting in wood that we had used. In Class G we translate the 3 powers of Zapotec cosmovision: serpent, the ultimate power that covers the truck from the fender to the vehicle roof. Jaguar, located on the hood, represents earthly power, and finally, the eagle, represents the power of vision. On the roof of the truck took place an intervention by Ricardo
\u00c1ngeles, that combines the unmistakable checkered flag of the car
racing and the colors of indigenous native American peoples\u2019 flag (Wiphala).<\/p>\n
