To the celebration of The Day of the Dead in 2021,<\/span> Casa de Mexico in Spain<\/span><\/i>, in collaboration with<\/span> Isla de Faro<\/span><\/i> presented a little exposition of<\/span> Jacobo and Mar\u00eda \u00c1ngeles.<\/span><\/i>. Five xoloitzcuintles carved in copal and hand-painted with natural dyes were exhibited with a mega death altar to go with the departed through the road to the Mictlan. The pieces were displayed on a pyramidal base, the same as it\u2019s part of the cultural corridor of <\/span>Casa de M\u00e9xico<\/span><\/i> in one of the most important moments of the year for that cultural center.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, the now famous workshop Paint your Nahual took place inside the cultural center. This event had a strong answer for those who took the workshop, excited to learn about the tradition of the Zapotec decorated in wood carved pieces. <\/span><\/p>\n

This showground serves as an extraordinary pretext to continue to spread and show the powerful work by Taller<\/span> Jacobo y Mar\u00eda \u00c1ngeles<\/span><\/i> in Europe.<\/span><\/p>\n
